Voltages Terminal Block

Maytag Original Electric Dryer

If the problem with your Maytag electric dryer is that is not running at all, or the dryer runs ok, but is not heating. The problem could be the voltages at the terminal block.

The dryer needs 120 ac volts to run the motor, and 240 ac volts to produce heat.

So, the first thing that you need to make sure is, that there are the proper voltages at the terminal block.

The easier way to learn how to check the voltages at the terminal block, is by watching a video on how it is done.
