Timer

GE Hotpoint Front Serviceable Washer

If the problem is that your washer won’t do anything in any of the cycles, the problem could be a bad timer.

The timer is the brain of the washer. It is use to turn on and off all the electric parts on the washer.

The contacts inside of the timer open and close thousands of times during the life of the washer causing wear and tear on the contacts.

When the contacts burn, electricity can’t flow to the intended electric parts, and the washer can’t do the intended job.
