Maytag Original Electric Dryer


If the problem with your Maytag electric dryer is that the motor is not doing anything in any of the cycles, the problem could be a bad thermal fuse.

These Maytag dryers use two thermal fuses connected in series with the motor circuit.

One is located on the outside of the blower housing, and the other one is located on the top outside part of the heater tube.

These thermal fuses are safety devices use to open the motor circuit if the dryer is overheating for any reason.
