Taking Apart

Taking apart the Whirlpool 29 inch gas dryer properly

Taking apart your Whirlpool 29 inch gas dryer is the first thing you need to learn how to do properly to be able to fix your dryer yourself.

To check & replace the timer, the push to start switch and the temperature switch you will need how to remove the controls panel.

To check the belt, the idler pulley, the motor, the drum support roller etc. you will need to know how to open the top panel, remove the front panel and remove the tumbler.

So do yourself a favor and learn how to dismantle the dryer properly before attempting to do any repair.
