How To Remove The Front Panel

The door switch: The door switch is used to prevent the washer from running if the washer door is open when you are using it. So if the door switch is bad then the washer will not do anything.

Timer on/off switch: The timer switch is used to turn on or off your Maytag washer. If the contacts on the switch are burned out, the washer will not start.
