The Door Switch

This is a safety device used to stop the motor from running if the door on the dryer is opened when the dryer is running in a drying cycle. If the dryer door is opened during a drying cycle the dryer will stop running and you need to close the door and press the start switch to get the dryer running again.

The Timer

This is the brain of the dryer and it is in charge of sending electricity to each of the electrical parts in the dryer that need to be working during a drying cycle. The timer has many contacts that close and open during a drying cycle. Watch the timer video to see how to check and replace it.

The Motor

Wire Connectors

If everything seems to be ok but the dryer is not working make sure to check every wire connector to make sure that is making a good connection or that is not burned.
