The front panel: Before you could check the internal parts in your Maytag washer that could be causing the not filling problem, you will need to remove the front panel. Click on the link below to see how to remove the front panel.
Water Valve Screens or filters: If the problem with your Maytag washer is that is not filling or if the amount of water entering the washer is to slow or too little. The not filling Maytag washer problem could be that the screens or filters inside of the water valve could be clogged.
The temperature switch: The temperature selector switch is use to select what temperature do you want the water entering the washer. If this switch is bad then the washer may not be able to get the water temperature that you selected.
The water level switch: This switch is used to control the amount of water that you may need to do a load of laundry. If this switch fails the washer could stop filling with water or it could stop taking any water at all.
The water valve: The water valve use 2 solenoids to open and close the hot, cold and warm water. If any of the 2 solenoids are bad, the washer is not going to be able to fill with water properly. This is an easy repair just watch the video
