Fixing a not draining GE Hotpoint washer is easy if you learn what I am showing you in the following videos. Just watch the videos as many times you need until you know how to check, remove and replace the parts that have to do with the washer draining.

Please read the disclaimer page before viewing the videos

The first thing you need to learn is how to take the washer apart and how to put it back together again properly.

The water pump in this washer uses an electric motor to pump the water from the tub to the drain pipe. If this motor fails to work the pump will not pump the water out of the tub. The video below will show you how to check & replace the water pump.

Obstructions to the flow of water could happen in a few places in the washer. Small articles of clothing could obstruct the tub, the hoses and the water pump. Watch the video below to see how to check and remove obstructions.
