The belts: This washer uses two belts, one belt to drive the transmission on agitation or spin and the other belt to turn the water pump to drain the water from the washer tub. To learn how to check, remove and replace the belts check click on the video link below.

The motor springs & slides: This Maytag washer use a set of springs & slides to give the belts the proper tension. The springs and slides or rollers ride in the motor mounting place tracks. The main problem with this parts are that the tracks in the plate get dirty preventing the springs & slides from move properly to give the belts the proper tension. 

The transmission: In these videos I will show you how to check the transmission to see if it is working properly or not. You will also learn how to remove the cover on the transmission to check the internal parts to see if any of the internal parts are in need to be replaced
