Fixing a not agitating GE Hotpoint washer is easy if you learn what I am showing you in the following videos. Just watch the videos as many times you need until you know how to check, remove and replace the parts that have to do with agitating.
If the washer fill with water to the selected level, the motor starts running but the agitator is not agitating. You will need to check the agitator coupler. Check the video below to see how to check & replace the agitator coupler.

If you have an older GE washer that may use a clutch check the video below to see how to take it apart and put it back together again properly. If your washer don't have a clutch the this video is not for your washer.
