If your Whirlpool 29 inch electric dryer is making noises in any of the cycles, you will need to check the following parts until you find out what part is causing the problem.

Taking the dryer part: The first thing you will need to learn to be able to easily repair your dryer is how to take it apart and how to put it back together again properly. Once you learn how to do that, the repairs will be very easy to do.

The beltA broken belt could be the reason why your Whirlpool 29 inch electric dryer is not tumbling.Let’s say that you load the dryer with wet clothes and turn it on to dry the clothes. If when you check the clothes they are still wet, you need to check the tumbler driving belt to see if it is broken or stretched.

Idler pulley: If the problem with your Whirlpool 29 inch electric dryer is that is not tumbling properly or is making a lot of squeaking noises. The problem could be a bad idler pulley or idler pulley.

Drum rollers: Worn out drum rollers could be the reason why your Whirlpool 29 inch electric dryer is making rumbling noises.

Drum baffles: The drum baffles are some paddles inside of the drum used to stir the clothes around when the drum is turning. They are attached to the drum with some screws and when the screws get loose, the baffles get noisy. Check the video below to see how to do this repair.

The dryer uses 2 roller on the back panel that the drum or tumbler rides on top of it. With time and the amount of usage these rollers wear out ant he dryer starts to make noises. These noises starts small and get bigger as these parts wear out. To check and replace them you need to do the following.

The motor checking: If the motor don’t start and run, the dryer is not going to do anything. The motor needs to run to turn the tumbler and to complete the heating circuit.
