How to install a 3 or 4 prongs cord

are wired for four prongs cords.
If your dryer has a three prongs cord and you need to change the cord to a four prongs cord or you get a dryer that has
a four prongs cord and you need to change it to a three prongs cord, you need to really know how the job is done.
A three prongs cord uses three wires that connect to the terminal block. Two wires are live and the other one is the neutral.
A four prongs cord has four wires. A red wire that is live, a black wire that is live, a white wire that is neutral and a green wire that is the cabinet
ground wire.
