Heating Elements New Style

GE Hotpoint Electric Dryer

If the problem with your GE Hotpoint electric dryer is that is not heating at all, or it is taking too long to dry the clothes. The problem could be broken heating elements.

These dryers use two heating elements to dry the clothes. When the dryer is set on regular heating, the two elements get red hot. And when the dryer is set on delicate, only one heating element gets red hot to dry the clothes.

That is why sometimes when you set it on regular and one of the heating elements is broken, it takes too long to dry the clothes
