Whirlpool 27 Inch Electric Dryer

If the problem with your Whirlpool 27 inch electric dryer is that the motor runs, but the drum is not tumbling. The problem could be a stretched or a broken belt.

The belt is about ¼ of an inch wide, but it works very hard to keep tumbling the clothes. If the drum won’t tumble the clothes, the clothes are not going to dry properly.

To be able to check & replace the belt, you need to be able to dismantle the dryer and put it back together again properly. Click here to see how to dismantle the dryer.
