Whirlpool dryer is not tumbling
If the dryer won't tumble, the clothes will stay in one place inside of the tumbler and they
will not dry out.
If you notice that the clothes are not drying after you let them run in the dryer for at least one hour, check for a broken belt in the dryer.
This is the easiest way to check to see if the Whirlpool dryer is not tumbling. Set the timer on the regular time dry cycle, open the dryer door, turn the door switch on by pushing it in and holding it in.
While holding the door switch actuator in, press the push to start switch to turn the dryer on. Look inside of the dryer to see if the Whirlpool dryer is tumbling or not.
If your Whirlpool dryer is not tumbling, most likely the dryer has a broken belt.
