Not Agitating
Whirlpool Washer

Learn How To Fix A Not Agitating Whirlpool Washer

In this not agitating Whirlpool washer page you will find the links to videos that will show you the different parts that you need to check to determine why your Whirlpool washer is not agitating.

By learning how to check each one of the parts that have something to do with the Whirlpool washer agitating cycle anyone could check & replace the parts on the agitating problems and save a big chunk of cash.

Just make sure to watch each one of the videos until you are sure you know how the repair is done before working on the washer.

The Agitator Dogs: This washer use agitator dogs to turn the agitator mover in order to push down the clothes so the bottom part of the agitator could scrub the clothes and remove the dirt. If they fail because they are wore out, the clothes will stay on the top of the tub and they will not be washed.

Agitator Mover: The agitator mover job is to push down the clothes on the top of the tub so the bottom part of the agitator could scrub and clean the clothes.

Motor Coupler: The motor coupler is used instead of a belt and is coupled to the transmission. So when the motor turns it turns the motor coupler and the coupler turns the inside of the transmission and the washer spins or agitates depending on the direction the motor is turning. A broken motor coupler is most of the times the cause of a not agitating Whirlpool washer.

The Gearcase Or Transmission: The gearcase is used to either turn the spin drum to remove the water from the clothes or to turn the agitator to wash the clothes. A bad gearcase or transmission could be the cause why your Whirlpool direct drive washer is not agitating properly or not agitating at all.
