GE front serviceable washer

The GE front serviceable washer replaced the older style washer that you had to remove a cardboard back panel to work on it. This washer is easier to work on and to gain access to the motor, pump, belt etc. all you have to do is remove the front panel.

This washer uses an electric pump instead of the older style washer belt driven pump.
The advantage of the electric pump is that if the washer belt breaks, you still can drain the water from the washer.

This is a reliable washer but like any other washer some times something stops working and you will need to have it repair.

Most of the repairs consist of replacing parts that have stop working. If you are looking for information on how to fix your washer, you are in the right place.

In this page you will find free written information and low priced repair videos. We have downloadable videos covering individual problems and complete DVD videos covering the complete washer.

Check the ID video below to make sure that the information in this page covers your washer. If you are not sure, send us the model number and we will check it for you.
