GE-HP dryer is heating irregular
heating irregular means that the dryer is getting too hot or not hot enough. In other words it is taking to long to dry the clothes.
The most common problem is a kinked or clogged exhaust hose. A lot of times the exhaust hose is too long from the dryer to the outside, it has too many bends and gets clogged with lint.
The most common problem is that exhaust hose gets kinked behind the dryer.
The dryer should be away from the wall enough so the hose will not kink. I like to use a 4 inch 90 degrees metal elbow on the dryer, this way it will not kink.
Another problem is when the lint clog's the blower air duct. A broken blower wheel will restrict the airflow and that could be the reason the dryer is taking to long to dry.
If the belt breaks and the drum doesn't tumble
the clothes, This could be why your GE-HP dryer is heating irregular.
Overloading the dryer will cause the dryer to take too long to dry the clothes.
A thermostat that is not opening and closing at the factory set temperatures could cause the dryer to take too long to dry the clothes.
Any of the above problems could be the reason why your GE-HP dryer is heating irregular.
